Komşuluk birbirine yakın olan ve aynı mahalle ve ortamda yaşayan bireyler arasındaki sosyal ilişkileri ifade etmektedir. İslâm dini diğer alanlarda olduğu gibi sosyal hayata da birtakım düzen-lemeler getirmiştir. İslâm getirmiş olduğu bu düzenlemeler çerçevesince davranılması gerektiğini belirtmiş ve karşılıklı olarak komşulara bazı sorumluluklar yüklemiştir. Örneğin komşuya iyi dav-ranmak, komşunun hakkını yememek, komşunun malına, canına ve ırzına herhangi bir halel ge-tirmemek, karşılıklı olarak yardımlaşma ve dayanışma içinde olmak, sevincini paylaşıp dertleriyle dertlenmek, bu hak ve sorumlulukların başında yer almaktadır. Fakat günümüzde bizi biz yapan bu değerlerde bir aşınma meydana gelmiş ve ahlaken bir yozlaşma başlamıştır. Çalışmamızda ev-vela İslâm dininde komşunun komşuya karşı hak ve sorumlulukları ele alınıp incelenecek ve komşuluk ilişkilerinin nasıl olması gerektiği tartışılacaktır. Daha sonra günümüz komşuluk ilişki-leri üzerinden bu hak ve sorumlulukların ne derecede erozyona uğradığı nitel bir araştırmayla sorgulanarak okuyucuya sunulacaktır. Bu çalışmanın diğer araştırmalardan ayrılan yönü ise ko-nunun nitel desenli saha çalışmasına dayanmasıdır.

Neighborhood refers to the social relations between individuals who are close to each other and live in the same neighborhood and environment. The religion of Islam has brought some regulations to social life as in other fields. Islam has stated that it is necessary to act within the framework of these regulations it has brought and has imposed some responsibilities on neighbors mutually. For example, behaving well to neighbors, not defrauding the neighbor, not harming the property, life and chastity of the neighbor, being in mutual assistance and solidarity, sharing his joy and worrying about his problems are among these rights and responsibilities. However, today, these values that make us who we are, have been eroded and a moral degenera-tion has begun. In our study, first of all, the rights and responsibilities of the neighbor towards the neighbor in Islam will be discussed and examined and how the neighborly relations should be discussed. The aspect of this study that distinguishes it from other studies is that the subject is based on a qualitative patterned field study.
