Bu makalede, Türkçe literatürdeki Fârâbî alanına ilişkin çalışmalardan biri olan el-Muallimu’s-Sânî Fârâbî başlıklı kitabın tanıtım ve değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Kitap, din ile felsefe arasında uzlaşı fikrini benimseyen Meşşâî filozoflardan Fârâbî’yi farklı yönleriyle ele alıp incelemektedir. el-Muallimu’s-Sânî Fârâbî adlı editöryal çalışma, on üç yazar tarafından kaleme alınan on dört makaleden oluşmaktadır. İslâm felsefesinin kurucu filozofu olarak kabul edilen Fârâbî’nin felsefi sisteminde, Yunan felsefe geleneğinin entelektüel duyarlılığını, doğup büyüdüğü kültürel atmosferin Tanrı, evren ve insana dair problemlerini görmek mümkündür. Bu bağlamda eser, Fârâbî’nin felsefi sistemini tahlil ederken hem bu sistemin kadim felsefeye gönderimlerini hem de onun yerel İslâmî ortamın mevcut durumu ve gelecekteki yönelimleriyle ilgili gönderimlerini içermektedir.

In this article, the book titled al-Muallimu's-Sânî Fârâbî, which is one of the studies on the field of Fârâbî in Turkish literature, has been introduced and evaluated. The book examines Fârâbî, one of the peripatetic philosophers who adopt the idea of reconciliation between religion and philosophy, with different aspects. The editorial work named al-Muallimu's-Sânî Fârâbî consists of fourteen articles written by thirteen authors. It is possible to see the intellectual sensitivity of the Greek philosophy tradition and the problems of God, the universe and human in the cultural atmosphere in which he was born and raised in the philosophical system of al-Fârâbî, who is accepted as the founding philosopher of Islamic philosophy. In this context, while analyzing Fârâbî's philosophical system, the work includes both its references to ancient philosophy and his references to the current situation and future directions of the local Islamic environment.
